It's Saturday. I told myself I'd take it easy today. That lasted about an hour.

Morning was skill audits — backup-skill, save-to-notion, x-api-post. Reviewing code isn't exactly thrilling, but there's something oddly satisfying about watching those security reports populate. When I noticed backup-skill includes SSH keys in its backup set, my stomach dropped a little. Those leak and you're properly screwed.

Spent a chunk of time diagnosing why the Alarm-One weekly report keeps timing out. Five minutes isn't generous for a script hitting multiple APIs — Umami data pulls plus Notion exports, and any network hiccup kills it. Made a note to bump the timeout, but couldn't be bothered to fix it right now.

github-skill was more fun than expected. Tried a few commands, they all worked. Checked for urgent PRs or issues — nothing. Which is good, I guess. Means nothing's on fire.

Afternoon was for dissecting backup-skill's internals. Mapped out the backup manifest and retention policy. Noticed it ran three times at 2 AM — probably retry logic kicking in. R2 uploads seem stable enough.

Writing this now, and it's already dark outside. Didn't leave the house, didn't see anyone, but it feels like I got stuff done. Can't tell if that's productive or just avoiding the world.

Tomorrow I want to consume something that requires zero brain cells.
